- The existing combination of Dropbox, email, and the Wrike project management system had served the team well — but as the client base grew into the hundreds, the manual coordination required to keep everything organized was becoming a bottleneck
- Clients had limited visibility into the status of their projects and documents, leading to frequent check-in calls and emails that consumed team bandwidth
- Sensitive documents moved through email attachments and shared folders without centralized version control or consistent audit trails

- Built a custom client portal with Microsoft 365 integration — clients authenticate via Azure AD with role-based access, giving each organization a secure, self-service experience
- Consolidated document storage onto SharePoint — leveraging Microsoft's at-rest encryption, versioning, and enterprise-grade security while eliminating scattered file shares and email attachments
- Created structured document workflows that guide clients through organized uploads, automatically route files to the correct project context, and keep statuses current without manual intervention
- Integrated with Wrike so task and project statuses flow bidirectionally — the internal team's workflow and the client portal stay in sync automatically
- Implemented secure in-portal messaging so clients and team members communicate in context — attached to specific projects or tasks — replacing fragmented email threads
- Delivered real-time progress dashboards and graphical reports that give clients and leadership instant project visibility without waiting for a manual update
- Built the platform on Azure serverless infrastructure and SharePoint, so it scales elastically with the client base — adding new clients and projects requires zero infrastructure changes
